Covid-19 2020-07-09T08:38:07+00:00

In light of the governments announcement on the 23rd of June, we have introduced a range of  precautionary measures,  to make our properties safe and reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19.

Cleaning:

Change over cleans will be undertaken by professional cleaners, using anti-viral cleaning products. For further peace of mind all properties will be fogged using multi-surface biocidal cleaner proven to kill 99.9% of viruses.

As your hosts we will be doing everything we can to keep you safe, and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Linen bags will be provided, and we ask that on checkout day you please strip your beds and place the linen and towels in this bag. If you could also please leave bedroom windows ajar on departure we would be grateful. Due to the heightened cleaning process and the need to air the properties, we please ask that check out is prompt at 10AM on day of departure.

We will ask guests to bring the cleaning products they are accustomed to at home along with them, to encourage guests to maintain the cleanliness of the property during your stay.

Facilities

Honingham site only

Unfortunately, currently (as of 25.06.20) the swimming pool and gym facilities complementary with your stay are still currently closed. The Tennis courts at The Edge Health and Fitness complex are open for use, however you will need to bring your own tennis racket. Our Games room will need to remain closed, other than when all three cottages are hired together by the same bubble. This is following government advice.

Please note that the garden is a shared facility, and we ask to you adhere to social distancing from any other holiday guests, whilst you are using it.

Both sites

Bookings with infants and young children will need to bring their own travel cot and bedding, however we will be able to provide a high chair.

To reduce the risk of infection we will not at this time be providing complimentary Tea, Sugar, Coffee or hand soap. Please bring your own.

We ask that any food, including in the fridge and freezer – are taken away with you, or disposed of by yourselves before departure.

Contact-free check in:

All properties have key-safes and comprehensive pre-arrival information which will be in the cottage when you arrive, allowing for a contact-free check in. If you need anything during your stay, Sam lives on site and is contactable on 07775678782.

We have put together a Covid-19 edition of our information pack, detailing what’s open and where to visit safely in the surrounding area.

Honingham Site only

On site we have a Farm Shop, open daily Monday – Saturday 07:00 – 17:00 Sunday 09:20 – 12:30 where you will be able to pick up all your necessities including bread, milk, fresh produce, meat & fish. We also offer take-away coffees and ice-creams too!

We established our farm-shop in light of the Covid-19 crisis, and it has been a great success and lifeline not only for the community, but keeping our staff in employment as we had to close both our holiday and cheese business at the beginning of the outbreak. There should be little or no disturbance from the shop during your stay as 07:00 – 09:00 in the morning are quiet times for us, and closing at 17:00 we close before your evening supper.

Due to the success of our Farm-shop we are currently undergoing an extension to make room for a larger shop and cafe (due to open in the Autumn) we will aim to keep disruption to a minimum and ask for your understanding at this time.
